About the Role
As a Business Transformation Architect (Data & AI) at Slalom, you will work closely with C-suite executives, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to shape and deliver enterprise-wide transformation strategies anchored in Data & AI. You’ll bridge the gap between business vision and technical execution, designing scalable solutions and operating models that drive measurable value. Your expertise will help clients accelerate their AI and digital transformation journeys, particularly within regulated sectors such as financial services.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with business leaders to define transformation strategies that leverage Data & AI for measurable business value
- Translate enterprise priorities into actionable Data & AI roadmaps with clear KPIs, ROI, and value levers
- Identify, shape, and prioritize high-impact AI and data use cases that enhance performance, manage risk, and improve customer outcomes
- Design and implement Data & AI operating models, including governance frameworks, stewardship, and Responsible AI
- Lead the translation of complex business problems into scalable, AI-enabled solutions across data platforms, analytics, and generative AI
- Architect modern, cloud-native Data & AI platforms with robust governance, security, and scalability
- Guide clients from initial experimentation to enterprise-scale AI adoption, embedding AI into core business processes
- Establish delivery models and AI factories to industrialize and scale Data & AI use case development
- Drive change management initiatives, including AI literacy and capability programs for business and leadership teams
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing thought leadership on AI trends, risks, and opportunities, while mentoring multidisciplinary teams
What You’ll Bring
Experience
- Extensive experience in business transformation, consulting, or enterprise architecture
- Proven track record delivering large-scale transformation programs
- Deep experience driving Data & AI-enabled transformation initiatives
- Exposure to regulated industries (e.g., banking, financial services) preferred
Capabilities
- Demonstrated expertise in strategy development, business case design, and value realization
- Ability to design operating models and lead process transformation
- Strong executive stakeholder engagement and influence skills
- In-depth knowledge of modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks), AI/ML, generative AI concepts, and Responsible AI practices
- Skilled at translating business needs into measurable, AI-enabled solutions
- Experience with enterprise architecture and aligning business strategy with technology delivery
- Ability to scale solutions from pilot to enterprise-wide deployment
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Excellent executive communication and storytelling abilities
