• Assist with gathering and maintaining compliance evidence for security assessments and audits.
Artifact & Configuration Management
• Maintain GitLab runners, repository configurations, Artifactory repositories, and scanning policies.
• Support artifact lifecycle management, repository governance, retention policies, and cleanup activities.
• Assist with onboarding teams to GitLab workflows, artifact management processes, and security scanning capabilities.
• Execute documented operational procedures related to software delivery platforms and environments.
Cloud & Container Platform Support
• Support CI/CD platforms operating within AWS and container-based environments.
• Assist with Kubernetes/EKS-based deployment and operational activities.
• Support container image scanning and cloud-integrated DevSecOps workflows.
• Participate in infrastructure validation, environment health checks, and cloud platform operational support.
Automation & Infrastructure as Code
• Develop and maintain operational scripts using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
• Support Infrastructure as Code implementations using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Execute automation routines supporting security scans, artifact management, system validation, and platform operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation and process improvement.
Consulting Responsibilities
• Collaborate with engineering teams, platform administrators, cloud operations teams, cybersecurity professionals, and client stakeholders.
• Communicate technical issues, operational updates, risks, and recommendations in a clear and professional manner.
• Contribute to implementation planning, release readiness activities, and operational support initiatives.
• Participate in program increment (PI) planning activities and cross-functional coordination efforts.
• Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and knowledge-sharing materials.
• Build trusted relationships with client teams while providing a proactive, solutions-oriented consulting approach.
Successful consultants in this role will:
• Proactively support secure and resilient CI/CD operations across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Enable development teams by providing reliable platform support, troubleshooting assistance, and operational guidance.
• Help ensure vulnerability scanning, compliance activities, and secure coding practices remain integrated into delivery workflows.
• Contribute to modernization initiatives involving GitLab adoption, DevSecOps automation, secure coding platforms, and cloud-native software delivery capabilities.
• Demonstrate a continuous learning mindset while developing deeper expertise across DevSecOps, cloud operations, and CI/CD engineering domains.

• Experience executing operational support activities and following established procedures in production or enterprise environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate issues appropriately.
• Demonstrated interest in growing within DevSecOps, cloud engineering, and CI/CD platform engineering disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications
