Transformation Team
Our Transformation team helps organisations reimagine what's possible and deliver impactful results. We partner with clients to uncover their needs, navigate complexity, and drive meaningful change. As a Transformation Consultant at Slalom, you'll be part of a close-knit, collaborative team that operates closer to a strategy firm than a traditional consultancy — meaning everyone plays a meaningful role with the client from day one. You'll work directly with Engagement Leads, receiving clear direction while being empowered to take ownership of your workstream and engage directly with client stakeholders.
About the Role
Join our Transformation team and help leading organisations reimagine what's possible. As a Transformation Consultant, you'll be a core member of agile project teams, partnering with clients to navigate complexity and drive meaningful change. What You'll Do
- Drive transformation delivery across large-scale programs, from discovery through to enablement
- Map and redesign business processes, identifying bottlenecks and designing lean, efficient workflows using BPMN and value-stream mapping
- Unlock intelligent operations by identifying AI and automation opportunities, assessing ROI, and shaping delivery roadmaps
- Design operating models including roles, governance structures, and ways of working that sustain transformation
- Own critical deliverables through rigorous data analysis and executive-ready materials
- Facilitate workshops and manage stakeholder relationships across multi-disciplinary teams
- Bridge business and technology, partnering with technical teams to connect business needs with platform, data, and digital solutions
- Leverage emerging technology and AI tools to enhance consulting delivery quality and efficiency
What You Bring
- 1–3 years in management consulting, professional services, or continuous improvement roles
- Process improvement expertise with hands-on experience in business analysis and operating model design
- Technology curiosity with exposure to AI tools, process mining, or automation platforms (advantageous)
- Exceptional communication skills—you translate complex analysis into clear, actionable insights
- Agility and ownership—you thrive in ambiguous environments and adapt quickly to change
- Cross-industry experience working on varied project types
- Collaborative mindset with experience working alongside technology and digital delivery teams (advantageous)
- Change management familiarity is a plus

We wish to build a team that echoes the diversity of the communities we serve, and our values are an active part of our every-day, guiding our decisions.
What keeps us here?
When we moved to Australia in 2020, we had no idea just how important our work/life balance would need to be. We’ve asked our consultants what makes Slalom a great place to work and the most common answer – “the freedom to be ourselves when life gets in the way”. We make a big effort to bring everyone together and allow space when space is needed. We believe in helping each other thrive in work and life and are proud to invest in benefits that include holistic wellbeing, meaningful allowances, and investment in our team’s professional, technical, and personal growth.
Slalom is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes all qualified applicants. Slalom does not discriminate on grounds of race, religion, or belief, ethnic or national origin, disability, age, marital, domestic or civil partnership status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other basis as protected by applicable law.
