Who You’ll Work With
Slalom Launch builds and scales modern digital products and platforms, partnering with clients and internal ventures to take ideas from concept through market-ready execution. Our work sits at the intersection of product strategy, engineering excellence, and emerging technology. We focus on building durable, reusable products rather than one-off solutions, and on creating teams that can evolve and operate those products over time.
Launch builds and operates a strategic, cloud-native SaaS platform and the products that run on it. The platform serves as the operating foundation for a portfolio of products and is built using modern, AI-enabled engineering practices.
This role is a senior product ownership position within Slalom Launch, responsible for shaping and prioritizing the product backlog for the strategic, cloud-native SaaS platform and its portfolio of products while leading delivery across one or more product pods. You will partner with engineering, design, and GTM leaders to translate vision into actionable work, maintain delivery cadence, and manage cross-team dependencies.
What You Will Do
- Shape product strategy and long-term platform direction in partnership with engineering, design, and GTM leadership.
- Translate strategic vision into an executable roadmap that balances near-term delivery with long-term platform evolution.
- Own and manage the product backlog, translating strategy into clear, prioritized epics and user stories.
- Define scope, sequencing, and release plans across the product portfolio in partnership with platform and product leadership.
- Drive delivery cadence, sprint planning, and cross-team coordination to meet roadmap outcomes.
- Identify and manage delivery risks, impediments, and trade-offs, escalating early when needed.
- Collaborate with engineering and design to refine solutions, resolve trade-offs, and ensure delivery readiness.
- Establish product acceptance criteria and ensure delivered work meets quality and value expectations.
- Establish delivery reporting, metrics, and transparency for leadership and stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional input from design, QA, DevOps, and GTM enablement.
- Contribute to GTM enablement by supporting positioning, pricing, and packaging inputs.
- Bring client-facing experience to internal discussions while keeping focus on internal product outcomes.
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience in strategic product ownership and product management for SaaS or platform-based products.
- Strong backlog management and prioritization skills in agile delivery environments.
- Delivery leadership experience, including managing cadence, dependencies, and risk.
- Ability to translate ambiguous goals into structured requirements and actionable plans.
- Experience collaborating with engineering and design to deliver complex software products.
- Comfort balancing near-term delivery with long-term platform and portfolio strategy.
- Client-facing experience and strong communication skills, with the ability to synthesize stakeholder input.
- Familiarity with product discovery, user research, and outcome-based planning.
- Familiarity with knowledge graphs and similar approaches for structuring complex domain context and turning it into usable product capabilities is preferred.
- Experience with subscription products, platform capabilities, or multi-tenant systems is a plus.
Location and Collaboration Model
This role is based in Guadalajara, Mexico, where the core engineering team is located. You will work closely with product, design, and leadership counterparts based in the United States and other Slalom markets, operating in a highly collaborative, cross-geography model.
