Who You’ll Work With

Slalom is seeking a Salesforce Agentforce Education Capability Leader who will build and lead a team that focuses GTM, pre-sales, and delivering Salesforce solutions for education clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven leader to shape a differentiated education capability spanning higher education and related public-sector education organizations. A strong candidate will be passionate about improving learner, student, educator, staff, and constituent outcomes through technology. They will understand the challenges education institutions uniquely face, including student recruitment and admissions, learner success and advising, constituent engagement, case management, grants and programs, data interoperability, accessibility, privacy, and responsible artificial intelligence. In this role, you will engage with senior leaders at clients, Salesforce and other technology partners, and inside Slalom to set and influence business strategies. You will be an expert in Salesforce Agentforce Education and adjacent Salesforce products and will work with non-technical and technical resources on how to use the platform effectively. You will lead discovery and solution design, bring education-domain and platform best practices to client solutions, and shape pursuits by aligning the right skill sets, estimating levels of effort, validating scope and assumptions, overseeing delivery excellence, and removing obstacles to client success. This is an opportunity to elevate how Slalom goes to market and delivers world-class Salesforce education solutions that combine enterprise platforms, data, AI, and deep education-sector expertise.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the education capability team’s utilization, market solutions, delivery quality, and contribution to profitable growth.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to establish annual growth targets, priority markets, strategic accounts, and capability objectives.
  • Help support direction and execution of Slalom’s go-to-market strategy for Salesforce Agentforce Education and related solutions across higher education and public education organizations.
  • Define the education capability vision, value propositions, differentiators, and portfolio of standardized offerings, accelerators, reference architectures, blueprints, and reusable assets.
  • Shape pursuits and oversee sales solutions, including discovery, problem framing, win themes, staffing plans, scope definition, assumptions, pricing guardrails, risk mitigation, and level-of-effort estimates.
  • Drive conversations with client technology teams and business stakeholders to connect desired education outcomes directly to Salesforce solution implementations using proven industry and platform practices.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce, client, partner, and Slalom architects to develop solutions that deliver measurable business and learner outcomes, with a primary focus on Agentforce Education and relevant Salesforce clouds.
  • Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, accessible, and well-architected solutions that leverage Agentforce Education, Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, Data360, Agentforce, Einstein, and the broader Salesforce Agentic Enterprise platform.
  • Own end-to-end solution integrity, including reference architectures, non-functional requirements, integration patterns, data architecture, identity and access, accessibility, privacy, and AI governance.
  • Provide detailed effort estimates for proposed solutions based on RFPs, client conversations, and partner requests; clearly articulate feasibility, assumptions, dependencies, benefits, and risks.
  • Own solution direction and outcomes for client delivery and provide executive oversight on critical or flagship education engagements.
  • Lead architecture and design reviews, delivery readiness gates, risk and issue management, recovery planning, and quality assurance to support on-time, on-budget, high-adoption outcomes.
  • Advise clients and Slalom delivery teams on Agentforce Education best practices, education data models, reusable assets, product features, implementation patterns, and value realization.
  • Develop trusted relationships with education executives and stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs, enrollment leaders, student success leaders, academic leaders, registrars, institutional research teams, and program executives.
  • Lead executive workshops, capability assessments, and value roadmaps that translate institutional strategy into phased delivery plans and expansion opportunities.
  • Partner with Salesforce alliance leaders to co-sell and co-deliver, maintain product roadmap awareness, and support partner-driven growth and joint market development.
  • Experiment with, pilot, and scale new Salesforce and partner offerings for education, including capability-specific demos, proofs of value, and repeatable solution plays.
  • Lead Slalom in upskilling on Agentforce Education, education-sector concepts, architecture patterns, and delivery best practices; establish certification and learning plans for technical and functional roles.
  • Coach and mentor technical, functional, architecture, sales engineering, and delivery team members; identify hiring needs, define role profiles, and participate in talent acquisition.
  • Drive brand development through conferences, industry events, sales meetings, client presentations, publishing, public speaking, benchmarks, maturity models, and education-focused points of view.
  • Lead with AI by defining the education AI vision and point of view, prioritizing repeatable use cases, and embedding responsible AI guardrails into pursuits, architectures, delivery plans, and operating models.
  • Apply practical AI fluency to identify appropriate uses of generative AI, predictive analytics, intelligent automation, knowledge and insight generation, summarization, classification, routing, and agent-assisted workflows in education contexts.
  • Guide teams and clients on AI data readiness, model and feature evaluation, human-in-the-loop controls, privacy, security, accessibility, auditability, monitoring, measurement, and change management.
  • Create and maintain education-specific AI messaging, discovery prompts, demos, implementation patterns, release gates, and learning paths that accelerate responsible adoption across the capability.
  • Continue professional development and increase fluency with education-sector topics, concepts, regulations, funding models, procurement practices, and technology trends as the landscape evolves.
  • Travel requirements: willingness to travel up to 25% for the Enterprise Team.

What You’ll Bring

  • 10+years of Salesforce experience, including leadership responsibilities across solutioning, delivery, architecture, or capability development.
  • Experience with Salesforce project delivery, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Agentforce Education, Education Data Architecture, Student Success Hub, or comparable Salesforce industry-cloud and education solutions.
  • Strong understanding of education business processes such as recruitment and admissions, enrollment, advising, student success, constituent engagement, case management, continuing education, alumni relations, grants, programs, or learner services.
  • Experience designing and optimizing business processes and integrating processes and data across disparate enterprise systems, including student information systems, learning management systems, identity platforms, data warehouses, and integration platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead discovery, solution architecture, estimation, proposal development, executive presentations, and pre-sales solutioning.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain trusted business relationships with senior client, partner, and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent client-facing written and oral communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes.
  • Strong commercial and delivery acumen, including utilization, revenue influence, profitability, scope control, estimation accuracy, project governance, and risk management.
  • Working knowledge of education data privacy, accessibility, security, and compliance considerations for solution design and responsible use of student and constituent data.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency: the ability to explain AI concepts to business and technical audiences, identify valuable and feasible use cases, assess data and governance readiness, design human-centered controls, and guide responsible implementation of Salesforce AI capabilities such as Agentforce and Einstein.
  • Hands-on familiarity with generative AI and intelligent automation tools, prompt and agent design concepts, evaluation methods, monitoring, and adoption practices; deep machine-learning engineering expertise is not required.
  • Ability to establish practical guardrails for privacy, security, accessibility, human oversight, auditability, and ethical AI use in education environments.
  • Active Salesforce certifications, or the ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire; architecture, Agentforce Education, Data360, and AI credentials are strongly preferred.
  • Passion for the education sector and for using technology to improve learner, educator, staff, and institutional outcomes.
  • Preference for previous experience serving higher education, public education, or education-adjacent clients.
  • Preference for hands-on configuration or technical development experience with complex Salesforce business processes and integrations.
