As the OpenAI Partner Solution Lead, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including industry leaders, sales teams, and solution architects, to drive pre-sales process and deliver impactful outcomes for clients. Together, we leverage cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices to deliver innovative and scalable solutions tailored to our clients' unique needs.
We are open to candidates located anywhere across the United States, within a commutable distance to one of our offices. Priority markets are San Fransico, Los Angeles, New York, Washington DC, Dallas and Houston.
What You’ll Do
Shape OpenAI opportunities
Help Slalom sellers and client teams identify where OpenAI can solve real business problems, clarify the client need, and shape practical services opportunities from early idea through pursuit and delivery handoff.
Connect the right people
Act as a connector between Slalom account teams, client leaders, OpenAI account directors, and internal experts so the right people are engaged at the right time.
Support sales pursuit
Develop clear proposals, presentations, SOWs, and solution narratives that explain how Slalom can help clients adopt and scale OpenAI technologies.
Bring practical AI expertise
Advise clients and internal teams on AI transformation, adoption, enablement, training, workflow change, and responsible use of OpenAI tools.
Help clients turn AI into value
Guide organizations beyond experimentation by helping teams adopt new ways of working, build confidence, measure value, and scale what works.
Strengthen the Slalom/OpenAI partnership
Create trust and momentum by bringing OpenAI relevant client intelligence, net new opportunities, strong delivery support, and clear follow-through.
Revenue Impact: Partner Solution Leads will have a responsibility of $1.5M - $3.5M
Utilization Expectation: Target 40% (may vary).
What You’ll Bring
Experience:
- 8+ years in consulting and/or business transformation, technology advances and the workforce and organization implications of AI.
- Direct experience with OpenAI ChatGPT Enterprise and familiarity with AI Coaching strongly preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in AI, generative AI, and machine learning, with hands-on experience operationalizing foundation models and integrating advanced language models into enterprise systems.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing solution P&Ls, sales pipelines and performance metrics.
Effective Communication
Demonstrated skill in explaining complex AI and data concepts to non-technical stakeholders, effectively translating technical capabilities into clear business value and outcomes.
Business Development
- Track record of growing client relationships and expanding account opportunities through the delivery of innovative AI and data-driven solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to drive growth through high-impact solution offerings and cross-functional team leadership. Requires expertise and credibility to influence across our global footprint.
- Connect people and opportunities across the ecosystem.
- Serve as the trusted connector between Slalom client partners, account teams, industry leaders, and OpenAI account directors to align priorities, identify mutual opportunities, and ensure the right expertise is engaged at the right stage of the client lifecycle.

Compensation and Benefits

For this position, we are open to hiring at the Principal or the Senior Principal level, the base salary pay ranges are listed below with an annual bonus target.
Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Columbus, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville, Phoenix, Portland and Salt Lake City:
Principal: $133,000 - $183,000
Senior Principal: $158,000 - $217,000
Boston, Los Angeles, New York City, Orange County, San Diego, Seattle and Washington, D.C.:
Principal: $145,000 - $200,000
Senior Principal: $172,000 - $237,000
San Francisco:
Principal: $158,000 - $218,000
Senior Principal: $188,000 - $258,000
Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time. We will accept applicants until August 18, or until the position is filled.
