What You’ll Do
- Serve as a senior strategic advisor supporting a global health portfolio focused on advancing resource mobilization, partnerships, and country-level engagement initiatives.
- Lead and refine country engagement strategies that strengthen political commitment, domestic financing, and cross-government stakeholder alignment across priority markets.
- Partner with international stakeholders, advocacy organizations, donors, and government counterparts to drive coordinated engagement plans and ensure consistent messaging and positioning.
- Develop executive-ready recommendations, decision briefs, and strategic analyses to inform investment decisions, engagement sequencing, and partnership strategies.
- Synthesize insights from resource mobilization efforts, financing pathways, and country outcomes to support portfolio planning and decision-making.
- Facilitate governance, planning, and execution processes across multiple stakeholder groups, ensuring clear accountability, effective decision-making, and timely follow-through.
- Support planning and execution of high-profile donor, partner, and government engagements, establishing clear objectives, desired outcomes, and success measures.
- Maintain a portfolio-wide view of strategic initiatives, identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities to improve coordination and impact.
- Drive continuous refinement of resource mobilization and partnership engagement strategies in response to evolving priorities and external market dynamics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and advance opportunities that strengthen portfolio outcomes and expand stakeholder engagement.
- Act as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders, providing strategic counsel on priorities, trade-offs, escalation needs, and organizational impact.
- Support quarterly partner meetings, executive briefings, and key stakeholder touchpoints to ensure alignment, momentum, and successful execution.
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, public sector, global health, international development, philanthropy, or a related field.
- Proven experience developing and executing complex, multi-stakeholder strategies involving government, donor, nonprofit, and private-sector partners.
- Strong background in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, partnership development, and organizational alignment.
- Experience supporting resource mobilization, financing strategies, policy initiatives, advocacy efforts, or large-scale transformation programs.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and navigate complex stakeholder environments without direct authority.
- Exceptional communication and executive storytelling skills, including development of strategic recommendations, briefing materials, and decision-support documents.
- Experience facilitating executive discussions, governance forums, and cross-functional decision-making processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and driving outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of building trusted relationships across diverse stakeholder groups and cultures.
- Experience working in global or international environments, including engagement with government agencies, donor organizations, NGOs, or multilateral institutions.
- Passion for driving social impact and advancing initiatives that improve outcomes in underserved communities worldwide.

Compensation and Benefits
Slalom prides itself on helping team members thrive in their work and life. Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, the targeted hourly pay range is $150 to $175hr. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
