Slalom is seeking a Lead, Team Operations to join the Capability+ Operations team. This role partners closely with Capability Leaders, Chiefs of Staff, and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional employee experiences through strategic program management, executive partnership, communications, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a proactive, resourceful operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a balance of strategic thinking, strong execution, and exceptional stakeholder management to every initiative.
Team Operations Overview
The Capability+ Operations team partners with Capability leadership to design, deliver, and continuously improve programs that enhance the employee experience, strengthen culture, and enable business success. The team leads initiatives spanning onboarding, communications, recognition, leadership events, and operational excellence while providing strategic and operational support to leaders across the organization. Team Operations also collaborates across markets and business units to share best practices, drive consistency, and scale impactful programs globally.
Role Expectations
- Candidates should be comfortable with a work schedule that may differ from their local time zone.
- To meet business and team coverage needs, this position may require virtual availability during core West Coast (Pacific Time) business hours.
- This is a hybrid role with the expectation of being onsite a minimum of two days per week (up to five days per week), depending on business needs.
- Occasional travel may berequiredbased on business needs
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Capability Leaders and Chiefs of Staff to develop and execute the strategy and vision for Capability programs, including events, communications, employee experience, and culture initiatives.
- Translate leadership priorities into actionable plans, driving alignment and execution across cross-functional stakeholders.
- Lead complex projects and programs from planning through execution, ensuring successful delivery through effective project management, stakeholder communication, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
- Continuously improve team operations byidentifyingopportunities for process optimization, automation, and scalable program delivery.
- Develop executive-ready presentations, communications, project plans, and leadership materials that support strategic decision-making.
- Own the day-to-day operational activities that enable successful program delivery, including communications, scheduling, SharePoint administration, documentation, project tracking, and meetinglogistics.
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion while supporting executive leaders, managing confidential information, andanticipatingleadership needs in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Build trusted partnerships across the organization, serving as a proactive, solutions-oriented partner who delivers exceptional service and execution.
Functional Responsibilities
Events & Meetings
- Plan and execute virtual and in-person meetings and events from concept through delivery, including scheduling, agenda development, run of show creation, presentation development, speaker preparation, rehearsals, facilitation, and post-event follow-up.
- Coordinate leadership offsites, team meetings, and client or partner events by managinglogisticssuch as venue sourcing, vendor coordination, contracts, food and beverage, registration, audiovisual support, travel coordination, budgets, room blocks, branded materials, and onsite support.
- Evaluate event effectiveness andidentifyopportunities to enhance participant experience and improve operational efficiency.
Communications & Knowledge Management
- Own and continuously improve Capability communication channels and collaboration tools, including SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Outlook distribution lists, shared calendars, and related resources.
- Create executive-ready communications, newsletters, presentations, meeting materials, and other leadership resources that inform, engage, and align employees around Capability priorities.
- Maintain project documentation, knowledge repositories, communication resources, and SharePoint content to ensure information is organized,accurate, and easily accessible.
- Partner across Capabilities, Regions, and Market Operations tofacilitatecommunication, knowledge sharing, and organizational alignment.
Employee Experience & Culture
- Support and enhance employee engagement, recognition, and culture initiatives that foster connection, inclusion, and a positive employee experience.
- Develop and coordinate virtual engagement opportunities, recognition programs, and employee communications across platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Viva Engage.
- Help create meaningful experiences that strengthen community, celebrate achievements, and reinforce Capability culture.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in People Experience, operations, executive support, program management, event management, or related business functions.
- Experience partnering directly with senior leaders to coordinate strategic initiatives, communications, meetings, or organizational programs.
- Experience planning and producing large-scale virtual meetings and events using Microsoft Teams Town Hall, Zoom, or comparable platforms.
- Experience creating, designing, andmaintainingSharePoint sites, pages, and collaboration resources.
- Advancedproficiencywith Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Experience using Canva or comparable design tools to create professional presentations and communications.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for this positions is $75,000 to $90,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
