As a Salesforce Capability Leader – Dublin, Ireland, you will build and lead Slalom’s Salesforce capability in our Ireland market, reporting into the UK&I Salesforce leadership. You will shape the vision, strategy, and growth of our Salesforce business locally, while closely collaborating with leaders, teams, and clients across the UK&I region and beyond.
In this role, you will combine market-facing leadership, sales and go-to-market strategy, delivery excellence, and people leadership. You will work with clients to define Salesforce-enabled transformation journeys, partner with account and sales leaders to grow our Salesforce pipeline, and cultivate a high-performing team of Salesforce consultants, architects, and developers. You will also deepen our strategic relationship with Salesforce in Ireland, helping to position Slalom as a trusted, innovative partner in the ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Capability & Strategy
- Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Salesforce capability in Dublin, aligned with the broader UK&I Salesforce strategy.
- Develop differentiated Salesforce offerings and go-to-market propositions across key clouds (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing/Account Engagement, Platform, Industry Clouds).
- Identify target industries and priority solution areas for the Ireland market, informed by client needs, market trends, and Slalom’s strengths.
- Establish and continuously improve delivery methodologies, assets, and accelerators to drive quality, consistency, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other capabilities (e.g., data & analytics, experience design, engineering, change & adoption) to deliver integrated, end-to-end client solutions.
Sales & Market Development
- Partner with market, account, and sales leaders to shape, qualify, and close Salesforce opportunities in Ireland.
- Lead or support key pursuits, including discovery, solution design, estimation, and client presentations across UK and Ireland.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to C‑level and senior business and technology stakeholders, articulating how Salesforce can enable their strategic objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Salesforce account executives, solution engineers, and partner teams in Ireland and the broader UK&I region.
- Represent Slalom in the Salesforce ecosystem (events, joint marketing, thought leadership) to build brand awareness and demand.
Delivery Excellence
- Provide executive sponsorship and oversight for strategic Salesforce engagements, ensuring client satisfaction and successful outcomes.
- Guide solution and architecture decisions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with Salesforce and Slalom best practices.
- Support teams in resolving complex delivery challenges and removing obstacles to success.
- Promote consistent use of quality standards, governance, and risk management across Salesforce engagements.
- Capture and share learnings, case studies, and best practices to continuously enhance our Salesforce delivery capability.
People Leadership & Practice Building
- Build and grow a high-performing Salesforce team in Dublin, including consultants, architects, developers, and specialists.
- Partner with recruiting to define hiring needs, interview and select top talent, and ensure an outstanding candidate experience.
- Create an inclusive, collaborative, and learning-oriented culture where people feel supported, empowered, and able to do their best work.
- Coach and mentor team members, supporting their career development, certifications, and progression within Slalom.
- Foster strong connections between the Dublin Salesforce team and the broader UK&I and global Salesforce communities within Slalom.
Operations & Financials
- Contribute to the Salesforce practice’s financial performance in Ireland, including revenue growth, margin, and utilisation targets.
- Forecast demand, capacity, and hiring needs for the Salesforce capability in Dublin in partnership with UK&I Salesforce leadership.
- Support effective resourcing, staffing, and portfolio management across Salesforce engagements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the capability and take action to address gaps and opportunities.
Qualifications
Required
- Significant experience (typically 10+ years) in Salesforce consulting within a professional services or consulting environment, including leadership of teams or practices.
- Proven track record in shaping, selling, and delivering Salesforce solutions for both mid-market and enterprise clients.
- Strong knowledge of core Salesforce products and capabilities, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing/Account Engagement, and the Salesforce Platform.
- Demonstrated experience leading multi-disciplinary teams (e.g., consultants, architects, developers) through complex, multi-phase programmes.
- Ability to engage credibly with senior business and technology stakeholders, including C‑level, and translate business strategy into Salesforce-enabled roadmaps.
- Experience contributing to or owning aspects of practice or business performance (e.g., pipeline, revenue, margin, utilisation).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and build alignment.
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort operating in a matrixed environment across markets, practices, and regions.
- Commitment to building inclusive teams and cultures, with a track record of coaching and developing people.
Preferred
- Experience building or scaling a Salesforce practice or capability in a consulting or professional services firm.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Application Architect, System Architect, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or equivalent.
- Experience with industry-specific Salesforce solutions (e.g., Financial Services Cloud, Health Cloud, Communications Cloud, Manufacturing Cloud).
- Familiarity with adjacent technologies and ecosystems (e.g., integration platforms, data & analytics, marketing automation, experience design).
- Experience working within the Irish or broader UK&I market, with an understanding of local industry dynamics and client needs.
- Prior experience working in or with global consulting organisations.
