Transformation Go-To-Market Leader (Director / Senior Principal)
Locations: Phoenix, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego

Who You’ll Work With

At Slalom, personal connection meets global scale. Our vision is to enable a world in which everyone loves their work and life. We help organizations redefine what’s possible, shape the future, and get there.

Slalom’s Pacific Southwest Market is seeking a Transformation Go-To-Market leader at the Director or Senior Principal level to support continued growth across the Pacific Southwest. This role is focused on strengthening our ability to lead and deliver enterprise transformation work—connecting strategy, operating models, process, behavior, and technology to drive meaningful business outcomes.

This position may be based in Los Angeles, Orange County, or San Diego. You will align to industry sectors based on your experience and relationships, with particular interest in leaders across Healthcare & Life Sciences, Public & Social Impact, Technology, and Financial Services.

As a Transformation Go-To-Market leader, you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, lead complex transformation programs, and shape go-to-market (GTM) strategy across the market. You will play a critical role in helping clients navigate large-scale change—especially as AI reshapes how work gets done across the enterprise.

What You’ll Do

  • Scope, shape, and deliver both step-change and complex transformation initiatives across operating model design, process optimization, workforce transformation, and technology enablement with a strong focus on AI enablement.
  • Drive annual revenue responsibility of approximately $2M–$4M+, driving growth through client expansion and new business development
  • Partner with internal Slalom teams to engage with transformation-focused clients, developing strategies that connect business objectives to execution across people, process, and technology
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, particularly in complex, politically dynamic environments
  • Bring a clear point of view on AI and the future of work, helping clients understand how AI changes roles, processes, and organizational structures
  • Identify, shape, and close consulting opportunities in partnership with industry leaders, capability teams, and alliances
  • Lead pursuits, proposals, and client presentations; own deals from origination through execution
  • Provide executive oversight to ensure delivery excellence, measurable outcomes, and client satisfaction
  • Maintain individual targets, while balancing sales, delivery, and leadership responsibilities
  • Build strong internal networks across Slalom capabilities, bringing integrated solutions to clients
  • Represent Slalom through thought leadership, client events, and industry engagement
  • Support recruiting, mentoring, and development of team members within the Transformation capability

What You’ll Bring

Transformation Leadership (Core Requirement)

  • Demonstrated experience scoping and leading multiple large-scale organizational transformations in complex organizations
  • Strong systems thinking, with the ability to connect strategy, operating model, process, technology, and human behavior
  • Deep understanding of how transformation is scoped and executed end-to-end Intersection of Process, Behavior, and Technology
  • Ability to operate at the intersection of:
  • Behaviors, business process design and optimization, and technology
  • Experience delivering integrated solutions across these dimensions—not in silos

AI Perspective & Future of Work

  • A clear, informed point of view on AI and its impact on the workforce
  • Experience helping organizations move beyond AI experimentation to real operational impact and adoption

Consulting & Business Development

  • Significant experience in management consulting, technology consulting, or professional services environment
  • Proven ability to sell, scope, and deliver consulting work, including executive-level relationship building
  • Experience working across both consulting and industry environments preferred

Leadership & Executive Capability

  • Director-level or Senior Principal-level leadership experience, including:
  • Owning revenue and GTM responsibilities (~$2.5M+)
  • Influencing enterprise-wide agendas and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder dynamics and competing priorities
  • Proven track record of building trust in challenging client environments

Relationship & Influence Skills

  • Highly effective relationship builder across clients, partners, and internal teams
  • Ability to operate in matrixed organizations, bridging capabilities and aligning stakeholders
  • Strong political savvy and influencing skills, particularly in large, complex enterprises

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience in one or more core industries: Healthcare, Financial Services, Technology, or Public Sector
  • Ability and willingness to travel locally within the Pacific Southwest region
