The team is looking to expand by adding a Marketo Architect who will deliver tangible business impact.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end solution design for Marketo implementations, translating business requirements into scalable, high-performing platform architectures
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, driving strategic conversations and shaping solution direction based on best practices
- Lead discovery sessions and workshops to define business processes, customer journeys, and data requirements
- Design and oversee integration architectures across Marketo, CRM systems, CDP, analytics and other enterprise marketing and data platforms
- Break down solution designs into actionable configuration and development tasks for delivery teams
- Provide direction to cross-functional teams, including business analysts and developers, to ensure high-quality solution delivery
- Champion Marketo and Adobe ecosystem best practices, ensuring solutions are aligned to long-term scalability and business outcomes
- Define governance frameworks, naming conventions, lifecycle management practices, and operational standards for enterprise-scale Marketo environments
- Establish scalable marketing operations frameworks supporting multiple business units, regions, or brands
What You’ll Bring
- Deep expertise in Marketo architecture, implementation, optimization, administration, and operational best practices
- Strong understanding of Marketo campaign orchestration, program design, email operations, and data management best practices
- Proven experience designing and delivering integrated solutions across Marketo, CRM systems, and data platforms
- Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable platform solutions
- Strong understanding of marketing processes, customer lifecycle management, and personalization strategies
- Experience leading client workshops and influencing senior stakeholders, including navigating challenging or ambiguous requirements
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Familiarity with REST APIs, data modeling concepts, and marketing technology integration patterns
- 5+ years of professional experience in digital strategy, consulting, or related fields
- Marketo certification preferred
- Experience with Adobe Experience Platform, Journey Optimizer, Real-Time CDP, or broader Adobe Experience Cloud solutions is strongly preferred
- Ability to balance strategic advisory responsibilities with hands-on solution design in fast-paced client environments
- Occasional travel as needed by client

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges:
- East Bay, San Francisco, Silicon Valley:
- Senior Consultant: $154,000-$188,500
- Principal: $190,000-$232,000
- San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, Seattle, Boston, Houston, New Jersey, New York City, Washington DC, Westchester:
- Senior Consultant: $141,000-$173,000
- Principal: $174,000-$212,500
- All other locations:
- Senior Consultant: $129,500-$158,500
- Principal: $159,500-$195,000
In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
